2013 PICTURES IN A VIDEO

Hey guys, the Lord has been good to me and my family this year and i am extremely grateful. Was looking through my photos and i decided to make a video with some of them.

The pictures reflect a little of what had happened to me this year. I am praying that the glory of 2014 would surpass the glory of 2013 (Haggai 2:9), in Jesus name.

I hope you are able to view the video and enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by....

FEATURE POST: WORLD'S SEVEN EXTRAVAGANT HOLIDAYS

I was browsing through dailymail.co.uk and i came across this post. Some people have money to spend o. Enjoy feasting your eyes....

Wish you were here (in your dreams!): From gin palaces to private islands... drool over the world's seven most extravagant holidays

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2530112/Wish-dreams-Drool-worlds-extravagant-holidays.html#ixzz2omEl7xZo

From the most palatial of gin palaces to the world's poshest B&B where a week's stay won't leave you any change from £2.2million - these are the ultimate holiday destinations for the world's mega-rich and super famous.

So if you happen to have a spare few million burning a hole in your pocket, why not check in to the ultimate ski chalet or rent your own private Caribbean island?

Of course you can rest assured that every whim you can think of, and many you can't, will be well and truly catered for.

The gin palace on steroids - £441,000

There are gin palaces and then there’s a 242ft yacht called RV Pegaso, which comes with a submarine that can accommodate five people.

You can explore the bottom of the ocean around the Caribbean while someone tops up your glass of Dom Perignon. Closer to the surface, a flunkie will film you swimming with manta rays and introducing yourself to friendly sharks.

Back on board there’s a recompression chamber and toys galore (a 32ft waterslide, trampoline, outdoor gym, Jacuzzi) and, of course, a heliport at the stern. You might want to ask for a Flyboard — a 30ft power hose, pictured right, that lets you fly through the air.  With practice, you can do aerobatic spins and twists. The yacht sleeps 12 and there’s a lift up to the oak and walnut-panelled penthouse suite.  RV stands for ‘research vessel’ but you don’t need to be a marine scientist to appreciate this sort of life on the ocean wave — just very rich.

Charter Pegaso from £441,000

Private paradise island - £300,000

Calvigny Island The Cohens, a French family of estimable means, bought 50-acre Calivigny Island, off the south coast of Grenada in 2000 and spent more than £100 million developing it. Only in the past couple of years has the private island been available for rent.

It can accommodate 50 people, but if you want just the main house, it sleeps 20 and costs £300,000 a week, so double that for the whole confection. You’ll find marble bathrooms, Persian rugs, Egyptian cotton, and furniture by the classy Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta. There are Italian, French and Granadian menus each night, six sandy beaches — one for each day of your stay — and a plethora of water sports. For New Year, a band will come over from the mainland and the fireworks should be good, too.

A week’s stay on Calivigny will set you back around £300,000, calivigny-island.com.

The world's poshest B&B - £2.2million

The world's poshest B&B Called the King of the Castle holiday, this tour of Maharaja palaces in India’s Rajasthan includes three nights in three different hotels. You can either have them all to yourself or invite 120 or so friends. Whatever you choose, the price is the same: £2,160,000. Breakfast is included but everything else, including private jet travel between locations, is extra.

You start at the Lake Palace in Udaipur (built in 1743 by a philandering prince in defiance of his father and where the James Bond film Octopussy was shot) then move to Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, where Liz Hurley married the Indian textile heir Arun Nayar in 2007. Last stop is Rambagh Palace, once home to the Maharaja of Jaipur and set in nearly 50 acres of gardens.

The model Kate Moss and her chums checked in two years ago for the birthday bash of Naomi Campbell’s then boyfriend Vladimir Doronin — but don’t let that put you off.

Ampersand Travel (020 7819 9770, ampersandtravel.com) from £2,160,000 B&B from October-April.

The eco-millionaire's retreat - £1.1million

The eco-millionaire's retreat
Laucala Island in Fiji will do nicely if you want privacy — although there’s room for 60 of your nearest and dearest if you use all 25 villas. This six-square-mile South Pacific island is owned by Red Bull drinks magnate Dietrich Mateschitz (it formerly belonged to big bucks American Malcolm Forbes) and is hot on self-sustainability.

Accessed only by private plane (no, not exactly the greenest of options!), Laucala rears its own livestock, grows tons of fruit and veg, makes its own honey and even bottles its own mineral water. It makes Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island look unsophisticated. Villas have thatched roofs made from sago palms and coconut husk (all come with their own pools of course).

If you find your guests tiresome, there are five restaurants and enough space to get in touch with your inner ‘I want to be alone’ Greta Garbo. Take the whole island for a week and you’re looking at spending more than  £1 million — but it is all-inclusive.

Scott Dunn (020 8682 5099, scottdunn.com) from £1,092,000, including flights from the UK.

As for me, i would like to spend a week in the private island and the eco millionaire's retreat but as i no get 1.4 million pounds (which is 350,000,000 naira that is 350 million naira o) i would imagine being there in my dreams...

Where would you like to spend a week?

BLACK FRIDAY PURCHASE

Y'all remember when i talked about things i wanted to buy on black friday (november 29th). I eventually got some stuff but thanks to shippyme i have just received one of my package on the 27th of December! It is so annoying!

The other 2 packages which contains my SUPERMAN SERIES part 2 are not yet here and i am so pissed off. I don't know where it is now. I really wanted the series as part of my Christmas presents, actually to watch it when i was on call on Christmas day. I am so not happy that the others item have not arrived and the way it looks i might see my items in the new year not anytime this year.

Oh well, i am pleased with the package though. It seems incredible and the best part is (which i am seriously hoping it would help) that i would be able to view my lecture notes. It is small and light enough for me to carry to work which i hope would help me to be able read at work. I hope it helps me a lot, i majorly bought it for school work as i rarely play games.

Anyway here are some pictures:

It is not an Ipad or a Samsung tablet but i don't need those. I just need something to read my books. I am happy. And it is not that expensive, shipping is what consumes money, drat!!

That is all guys. Thanks for stopping by.

BOXING DAY......

So when i was growing up it was said that boxing day was the day we get to open our presents. However i doubt we ever followed that tradition in my house. The wrapping paper of presents were ripped apart early christmas morning.

Anyway i just wanted to show you guys what i got for myself this christmas while shopping for gifts for a friend. Prepare to be filled with extreme levels of envy.....

Don't be jealous guys....lol. It is a 4 in 1 game set containing chess, snakes and ladders, ludo and playing cards. I can only play 3 of the games, i don't know how to play chess but i intended to google how to and teach myself.

I decided to buy board games and get interested in them cos it dawned on me that i absolutely can't play any outdoor sport. I need to learn how to play board games/indoor sports since i can't play outdoor sports. Hopefully i would be determined considering i hate games *coveringmyeyes*.

That is all for now folks. Thanks for stopping by and i hope you enjoyed your holidays. It is back to work tomorrow and back to serious reading for me.

Have a lovely weekend.

SHARED MOVIE: RING THE BELL

I was recently able to watch this movie and i liked it. I thought it would be a great idea to share it with you guys. It is a lovely christian movie and i think i am a bit partial to American christian movies than Nigerian ones.

Anyway, i hope you guys love it. I was looking for Fireproof and Courageous(fabulous movies) to share but apparently i think they were removed from youtube. Oh well, still enjoy watching this movie.

God bless.

SIGHTS FROM AKWA IBOM: EKET/ADORABLE PHARMACY

Hey guys, i went to Eket yesterday to see a classmate of mine. She has just had her second child and also opened a Pharmacy, Adorable Pharmacy. I actually enjoyed my time and loved carrying her baby daughter, her other kid was not around, i would have loved seeing how big she was now. Anyways i took lots of pictures of her place to show you how super hardworking my girl is.

For those of who are in Eket or just passing by sef, check out my girl's pharmacy and get something. You don't need to be sick to check out her space. She has a variety of multivitamins. For those interested in having glowing skin, long hair and lovely nails, she stocks 'Perfectil' a multivitamin that has been known to help in the growth of hair because it contains biotin and other essential minerals and vitamins and also helps to prevent nail breakage (a friend of mine in SA used to have people send her the drug from Nigeria because it was not available there and it is darn good).

She is going to vex small but some pictures here had to be included. I need to people to understand that when she starts making some serious money that she has paid her dues so she deserves the great success that she has. I wish her all the best and know that this is just the beginning. Oh by the way, her name is Tope Ojoade nee Folarin and we were classmates in University.

Here are the pictures from Eket and Adorable Pharmacy...

Leaving Eket....

I know right? Impressive. When she told me that she opened a place, i thought it was a small place. Only for me to enter and see all that. I almost kicked here. Her place is really nice and forget that it is my friend's pharmacy, it is one of the best i have seen in this Akwa Ibom. Then again she is a member of the Trailblazers, she has no choice than to rock.

I couldn't get too many shots of Eket as i was squeezed up in the car. I wonder why these drivers pack people like sardine. Another reason i need a car shey? God dey o.

Hope you enjoyed all the posts of today. Thanks for stopping by and please remember to stop by my friend's place if you are in Eket.
