PRESENTATION IS OVEEEEEERRRRRRR!! YIPPEE!!!

After the presentation.....
Can you guys guess what happened today? Yep, we had our clinical presentation (yes, we because it was you and i standing to present). It was not perfect but it was more than okay, then again I didn’t record myself but I feel I did more than okay. And for that I am grateful to God....

I wore a sexy (according to most of my interns) purple gown but it was necessary. I was feeling really a bit anxious before the presentation so I need a power/confidence boosting outfit and the gown always makes me feel sexy so I chose it. It has a bit of a low back cut and it has an A line/mullet hemline and I got it from asos.com when I did some major online shopping last year.

I THINK IT IS TIME I MADE MY NAME A TRADEMARK

Hey guys, how are you? How did you spend your Sunday? Did you guys remember what was supposed to happen yesterday (picture above) Yep! We were coharvesters yesterday.

So I refused to take the first option of running away and decided to be a grown up. Besides God has done so much for me so in the great scheme of life, this was just the least I could do.

After the sermon lead by a youth (female) which was on sowing and harvesting for God. There was a couple of song ministrations (some people can sing) then the harvest ceremony.

RAMBLINGS OF A DIVA....

Hey guys, how are you doing? Today I was kinda of clueless on what to post but I knew I must something sha o. Since I had decided to have a one day on, one day off posting schedule I know I must post something today. I couldn't quite focus on one topic so I decided that it is time for another session of ramblings with the diva. A time where I talk about everything on my mind.

YAY!! I DID IT! I AM NOW A CAREER COUNSELLOR.....

Students of Adiaha Obong Secondary School and the  various healthcare professionals
Okay, that is a big exaggeration but I spoke on Pharmacy as a career to some kids today. It was actually a lot of kids, there should have been up to 120 secondary school girls….whew. Thank God I didn’t think about the number until now or I would have been intimidated.

So let me give you all the details from the pre counseling events to the actual event. Like you all know I was asked to speak on pharmacy as a career by a church member who is a doctor on Sunday. I was really scared a bit scared because I hate public speaking. However thanks to you guys for your kind words and God reminding me of my dreams, the encouragement I felt was enough to allow me to decide to just do it (like Nike sport wear says).

HELP! I AM NOW A GROWN UP!!

They even spelt my name correctly.....
Hey guys, how are you doing? How was the weekend? I should have put up this post yesterday but the useless network I use went off yesterday. Like completely! How I survived, I don't know. They had better give me 1gb of data as an apology for the nonsense they did yesterday.

Anyway back to today's topic but first let me cry....I am now a grown up *wailing* *rollingonthefloor*. Nobody should abuse me o, let me cry well (it is only for today). What made me realise this? After fighting to go to church (it rained like crazy yesterday and refused to stop for hours), I finally got to church and a consultant paediatrician who works at the same hospital I do greeted me and gave me a letter (above pic). Said he personally kept it for me after it was written since we are in the same paediatric department. At first I was like hmmm, what is it o?

CAN WE HAVE A BLOG SPOTLIGHT?......

This post was inspired by a lot of things that occurred lately and I would tell you all about them. I have been using my phone to write blog post lately (amazing to me, I always felt it would be weird). Sometimes I want to check out my favorite blogs but because I never memorized the web address of them I am stuck and by the time I can use the internet on my laptop, I am tired and can barely visit more than 5 blogs.

So I decided this would be a cool way to have the addresses of new and old blogs. Then I saw that you can make a blog list and have it on a blog page which would make it way easy for me to blog stalk. So there you have it, the lazy reason.

YOUNG PEOPLE IN POLITICS....POSSIBLE OR IMPOSSIBLE?

Gabriel Wikstrom
When I saw the picture above, my first thought was wow! Hawt! But when I found out that he was Swedish public health minister, I did a double check and a double wow. Then I found he is 29 years, my eyes were almost popping out.

Let me explain my reasons. Number 1, he is good looking. Number 2, he is a minister (not a commissioner o) of public health, Number 3, he is not yet 30. Can you understand why he is amazing to me? A young guy that is made a minister in a country must have done really well for the prime minister and other legislators to deem him worthy of being in that position.

Image result for blog action day pictures

Hey guys, thanks for stopping by today. Like I said in my prevent post, today is blog action day and I am glad to be a part of it. If you want to know more about it, please check here. This year's topic is on INEQUALITY. I hope you all enjoy what I have to say about it. I am going to keep it very personal so I do hope you read everything and are inspired.

While trying to get material for my write up I searched for inequality and I saw that there are different types of inequalities but what I decided to write on was Gender Inequality.

I AM JOINING THE BLOG ACTION DAY 2014 EVENT

#BAD2014
Hey guys, thanks to Hoda Katebi who made a comment on my talent post (check here) and invited me to join the blog action day event I am pleased to announce that I have registered to take part in this year's event.

When I saw the comment I was like 'what is blog action day?', then I went to google and saw the topics of previous years and I was like I am so doing this. Previous topics were poverty, environment, water, food and climate change.

This year's day is on October 16th and the topic is on Inequality. Basically the blog action day event is a day bloggers, vloggers, graphic designers, podcasters, photographers and social media users around the world talk about a global issue or topic.

MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES....

Hey guys, I was stalking some of the blogs of bloggers that have checked out my blog and came across this post on sarahrizaga.blogspot.com. I just knew I had to feature it. Check out the poem she wrote on choices we make. I would write what I think after....

Here is the poem:

The Choices We Make

When you look at yourself in the mirror, are you really looking at your self?
Or just checking yourself?
And have you taken a really close look at yourself lately?
Then what do you see?
A person you want to become?
Or a person you just settled to be?

These are just some of the questions i know most of you haven't asked yourselves yet.
And if you asked yourselves these questions...
Do you know what's the answer?

I know, i don't know too.
The only certain way to know or to at least know these,
Is if we're taking the right way and making the right choices.

Are you making the right choices then?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR TALENTS?

I didn't make this cake. I saw it on a friend's bbm page. The maker has some serious skills....
Hey guys, how are you all doing? Earlier today I was thinking of what to write on then i got inspired to write this based on the gospel that waa read which was from Matthew 25 vs 14-30.

And because I have readers who are not Christians I would summarize the story. It was a parable Jesus Christ used to illustrate his second coming and what God expects of us. The parable was about a king giving some of his servants different amount of talents according to their abilities and then he went on a journey. When he came back he asked them for an account on what they did with their talents. The first and second servants who had 5 and 2 talents each doubled it but the last servant who was given 1 talent did nothing with his talent. The King was angry and punished him (the last servant) accordingly.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES ALL DAY!!

Every 10th October we always have a sugar high at work because two of my senior colleagues were born on this day. One is an Assistant Director of Pharmaceutical service and Another is a Principal Pharmacist soon to become a Chief Pharmacist.

They are both wonderful women and are women every female pharmacist (or female) should admire. They are have their individual qualities that make them seriously unique. But what they both have apart from the same birth date is that they are dedicated, smart and beautiful inside and out.

So this post is dedicated to Pharm (Mrs) E Abassiattai and Pharm (Mrs) A Essien. And also this post is to make you jealous because of the plenty cakes, drinks and food that i ate.....lol.

Enjoy viewing the pictures...

LINDA IKEJI'S BLOG HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN!!!

I literally just saw that Linda's blog has been taken down by blogger and the name is not up to be used by other blogs or owners.

Yesterday I read when she wrote about all the people trying to take her down, I guess they succeeded. For those who don't know Linda Ikeji, she is top class serious mega rich Nigerian blogger. I am guessing she makes about 50 million naira (about $300000) a year. I don't know the exact amount, it could be more or it could be less. She gets her money from paid adverts, google AdSense and other ways that I wouldn't know.

WHAT IS UP WITH GUARANTY TRUST BANK LATELY?

Image result for gtb

Hey guys, I told you I was going to lament about all that GTBank has been doing putting me through lately. Well today is lamentation day. So I have never had it easy with GTB since I first opened it but a lot of people loved the bank and since I needed it at that for something important I had to maintain an account with them.

Actually I happen to be a teeny weeny shareholder (thanks to my dad) and they sent me a form advising me to open an account and I thought it would be nice to be an account holder as well. And that is when my problem started with them. It took them 6 months to finally open my account then when my debit card got expired and it took them another 2 months for them to replace it because the branch i requested for the card was not the branch that I opened it with. I had to bug them a lot before they eventually gave me my card.

NMA AND THEIR NEW IMAGE DAMAGING STATEMENT!!

I really don't get NMA again. They keep publishing statements that keep damaging their image. I have said it that the excos need a public relations consultant that would tell them what to write and what not to write. For my non medical and non Nigerian peeps, NMA is Nigerian Medical Association. It is an association that is supervise the doctors and whatever their other duties are, i don't know. But basically it is for doctors and limited to things that concern doctors not pharmacists or nurses or laboratory scientists.

Hence when i saw this on facebook i knew that they have started putting themselves in trouble again. Here is the part that made me laugh so hard...

NICE ANKARA OUTFIT.....

Hey guys i just saw this and realised that i really liked this outfit.

Please check it out and tell me what you think...
I love the cut and the edginess...

Okay, Bye....

Luv ya,
Petite Diva....

THERE IS NOW WOMB TRANSPLANT.....

Mother and baby....
I am a scientist but some times I am stunned at what science can do. I know I should accept some things done but I was first a Christian before a pharmacist so a lot of things done are really weird to me.
I saw this article on the first baby born from a transplanted womb and my jaw literally dropped. Transplanted womb ke? I was still trying to justify surrogacy and now there is womb transplant. I don't know how I feel about it. I am sure there are a lot of pros and cons to this procedure. Oh well, I hope I am never ever in a position to need it.
Here are excerpts from the article:

HAPPY EID MUBARAK TO YOU ALL.....

Happy Eid Mubarak to all my Muslim friends, readers and family. I wish you all the blessings of this season.

But what you guys are doing is not fair o. You guys are killing a whole ram or cow and nobody is sending me anything. Which reminds me one corp pharmacist has run away so that he would not give me meat ehen, let him come back i would so deal with him.....lol. Wait a minute, do people still give meat to other people. When I was little at this time my mom rarely bought meat because she was sure that we would be given meat by our neighbours and her father.

A $12,500 GROCERY BASKET......WHAT IN THE WORLD?

Shopping for Chanel: Ever the trend-setter, Anna Della Russo was spotted carrying two of her Chanel purses in the basket at Chanel's spring/summer 2015 show on Sunday
Please don't look at the outfit she is wearing and concentrate on the 'GROCERY BASKET'!!
Okay it is official!! This is the height of fashion madness. I saw this article on dailymail.co.uk and i was wondering what was wrong with fashion designers. A grocery basket that has one strip of leather and some stones is now $12,500 (i am not even going to convert that to naira) and the worst part is that a lot of people are going to buy it. It is not a show item, it is a made for sale item. Like what the heck?! It is by the fashion house 'Chanel' and apparently this is not their first 'luxury' or 'unconventional' bags that are really expensive but also sell....*WHAT!

Okay enough screaming and let me show you the pictures. Be prepared to get angry or be fascinated....

RAMBLINGS OF A DIVA……..

Hey guys, how are you doing? Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I didn’t pick up my computer to surf the net even though there was light and I had internet data. I felt so lethargic and uninspired yesterday. I was tilting towards being sad so I just shut down everything and glued my eyes to the television. I watched some Disney Junior programs and then some of Nickelodeon’s Sam and cat episodes and then i started flipping through channels before sleeping. I am better today, Thank God. I think it is all these raging hormones in my body....*thelifeofafemale*

I heard that Big Brother Africa would soon start. Good for them, as for me I no dey watch am (I don’t watch it). Apart from the first episode which I watched the weekly high lights (when I was in 100 level), I have not followed the program since. I hear about all the antics but to sit down and watch it, no way. I am not interested but you cannot begin to imagine the amount of people that are really in love with the program. I heard that this year those on the 5000 naira bouquet of DSTV and upwards can watch it. Previously it was only those on the 11500 naira who could watch it. So for all you Big brother Africa lovers hurry up and pay for your subscription. Fortunately for me, I don’t have DSTV. I have GOTV and that is just perfect for me.....hehe.
