Hey guys, so after paying to be a mixologist I decided to try to be a mixologist. I have been trying out recipes at home and yesterday i was really excited to make some cocktails/mocktails for my friends.

I had been making Chapman for myself and I brought some to work. My intern and corp member were totally impressed which inspired me to bring more. Which i gave  my senior colleague and her friend and they loved it.

Hey guys, Happy Sunday to you. Today was fun in church today, we had Bible study Sunday which is a new type of service to me at my church. We have some new priests (at least to me) and while I really miss the previous ones, I am determined to like the new ones. Besides that is the beauty of Anglican church, no priest owns a church. They are posted to different churches after some years.

Anyway today’s topic was Tithing. A really controversial and less talked about topic in most Anglican Church (don’t ask me why?). Anyway to show that it is one topic that needed a lot of clarification and is truly controversial, the bible study session took such a long time. People had so many questions, so many contributions, so many ideas on how it should be given, when it should be given and a lot more. It was supposed to take about 1 hour but we were struggling to get through with everything even after 1hour 30 mins. The leader and the venerable had to cut people off so that we could continue with other things.

Hey guys, how are you doing? Yesterday while some guys at work were discussing some issues I was not interested in it at all so I didn’t join. I realised that with so many things that I have going on right now I don’t want to be caught up in so many unnecessary discussions.

I think I am beginning to feel like I am truly reaching the peak of getting fed up with this hospital job. It is not fun anymore. There is so much bickering and a serious lack of motivation. It is like I am working for the money and that sucks. So it is official, I am on the lookout for a new challenging, inspiring, motivating and fulfilling job. I want a job that is going to challenge me to be a better pharmacist and individual. I want a job that is going to make me think out of the box and one where my ideas would make a difference. I want a job that would make me feel like I matter and where my colleagues are true team players.

HAPPY ASH WEDNESDAY

Hey guys, today is Ash Wednesday. The beginning of lent season. The beginning of fasting and the countdown to Easter.So this post is going to be short because i just came back from church and i am tired but glad that i went. It has been almost 2 years since i went to an Ash Wednesday service in my Anglican Church (now i have ash mixed with anointing oil on my forehead).

I hope to fast this lenten season, maybe not do the whole 40 days and definitely not till 6 pm (who they want kill ehen....lol), i am not sure yet but i know i would definitely do something. I remember one pastor saying that during the lent that you could also give up something that you love taking or doing if you cannot fast. i love taking coke but there is no way i can give up that so i guess my only option is to fast. So what are your plans during this lent?

HAIR POST......MY HAIR REGIMEN UPDATE

Hey guys, it has been a looonnngggggg time since I posted on my hair. I think it is because I have not really been doing anything spectacular to my hair lately.

I had a relaxer touch up in December and I have been washing my hair every week (to the amazement of my mom). I had the touch up around the 19th of December and I think I am going to transition to natural again.

Hey guys, Happy Valentine's day. I hope you had a lovey dovey day and you did something fun unlike me. I spent my valentine day in Martha mode. I spent it doing house chores. There was so many things to be done and I am not yet through but I feel fulfilled because I was able to accomplish something today.

So I didn't miss all the hype of the valentine's day. Besides I have never really celebrated valentine's day because I am either on call or something happens.

Hey guys, so I tried to get my permanent voter card today and it was a disaster. I had to go to three places before I could locate where it might possibly be.

Apparently Inec, Uyo is not smart enough to distribute to cards to smaller polling units so as to reduce the crowd and the amount of work involved. I was told that the crowd is usually worse than what I saw. Maybe they left when they told them to come tomorrow.

It has been almost 3 years since I went to Lagos Island and though I had been around in Lagos for a while I hadn't really been going out. The fear of headache inducing traffic had made me to restrict my movement to nearby places. And also the fact that I was not sure when my next salary would arrive (I had to be wise in my spending o).

Hey guys, it is a new month and it is time for another book....yay! The next book i am reading is called 'Why men marry bitches by Sherry Argov'. Sounds nasty , right?....lol. I got this book late last year (i think). I was really intrigued when i saw the 'bitches word' and the fact that it was being sold in my church's bookshop made me really curious. How can it be sold in the Church? So when i had the cash to buy it, i bought it.
