LIGHTS!! CAMERA!! PHOTOS!!

Hiya guys, by now i know you all know that i like to be behind the camera and not necessary in front of it always. So when a friend of mine started posting really great pictures on instagram and facebook, i decided to take some lessons with him to get better. After our first lesson, the guy hands over his Nikon D300 to me to go and practise for a few days and i am like OMG!. The camera is expensive and heavy. I was so scared that i would drop it (i actually had a dream last night that i did).

LAZY GEH POST.... BALL GOWNS

Hey guys, Can you imagine that i have about 200 views to reach the 100,000 views milestone? Yikes!! It is really amazing!! I am so excited. From writing just because i felt like and not even think anyone would view my blog to 100,000 views....This is major awesome.

I was viewing pictures on my computer and i thought it is time for a lzy geh post. The focus of today's lazy geh post would be on gorgeous ball/dinner gowns. I can't remember where i got them from but i do know that i love them and hopefully one day i can get one and rock it to a major ball. #divahasarrived

Amber Rose is really beautiful. I have never appreciated her beauty because her fashion style is weird and she has too many tattoos but recent pictures of her in Paper magazine has left me totally amazed.

THE POWER OF MAKE UP....

I love applying make up. I have been a fan of make up since i was a kid when i used to steal my mother's lipstick and apply when she was not at home.

I even paid and attended professional make up classes but i think i still lack some serious make up skills. Seeing pictures like these solidifies the fact that i need to go for another set of make up classes, prompto!

LAZY GEH POST......PUNK PRINCESSES

So i have been trying my hands on prompting my blog with a tool that i have known for a while but i never understood. I have been using twitter to promote my blog posts and i am seeing results. I just spend about 2 hours on twitter and my blog views are rising.....Yaaay.

I am really glad. It means more people are reading about my craziness. Hopefully they won't read it and run away but read and come back for more.

HAPPY CHEF DAY....

Hello guys, so yesterday was World Chef day so I decided since I am a chef wannabe (in my head) to do a 'food that I was experimenting with aka made' post to celebrate all the great chefs out there.


Being a chef wannabe is not easy, I can't imagine being a real chef and having to cook for hundreds and thousands of people. It is not just cooking, it als involves the food lookin great and it doesn't send people to the toilet.

SHOP SMALL WIN BIG……VERVE

Hey guys so I am back in Uyo and back to work…..*wailing*. I don’t want to work, I want to rest….*wailing*. I think Wednesday is a public holiday (Nigeria’s Independence day) and next week monday and Tuesday are public holidays….YIPPEE!! I get to rest a lot….*dancing*

While I was in Lagos, I used to see some mobile display by Verve with lots of noise trying to get people to the mobile stand. It was for their 'Shop small win big' campaign. I was intrigued by it and wanted to try it out but after a long day of lectures and equally long hours of traffic, I was usually too tired to get down from the bus just to satisfy my curiosity. So when I went to the Lagos International trade fair complex, Balogun Section. OMG!! I just realized that I might be in Lagos for this year’s Lagos International tradefair *jumpingupanddown*, this would be the first one I have attended in 4 years. I never used to miss it every year  when I was in Lagos/Ogun state, i even used to go there more than once. I love the atmosphere, the food and the freebies. I totally must save so that I can get lots of goodies. Because of the fact that most of the head offices of the companies come to display their products at the trade fair you are sure to get some crazy discounts and some really cool prizes. I can’t wait….*dancing*

ADVENTURES OF A PETITE DIVA IN DUBAI AND ABU DHABI

Hey guys, I hoped you all liked the last post. Sorry I can’t add too much pictures here. I decided to have all the pictures in one post so if you have not seen them, please check here. I found out I took almost 1500 pictures with both my digital camera and phone. So here is the break down of my activities during the week in Dubai.

Friday: I arrived in Dubai and slept throughout like I previously said, went to the shopping centre nearby and entered hair oil heaven. I got about 3 types of my hair oil (oils for my hair was the reason why I paid 1210 AED for extra baggage). 1 AED is 45 naira and 1 dollar is 3.66 AED, you guys can do the maths.

NON LIVING ITEMS THAT MADE THE CUT......

Here are the last set of pictures from my birthday. I have been trying to upload them for days now. I don't get what is wrong with airtel all of a sudden. They used to be so good now they are just frustrating. I am really discouraged. I have no zeal to put up posts anymore.

Anyway, i have loosened my hair and had a relaxer touch up. I don't know when i would upload the write ups and pictures of my wash and relaxer touch up but i would definitely do so soon. 2013 PICTURES IN A VIDEO

Hey guys, the Lord has been good to me and my family this year and i am extremely grateful. Was looking through my photos and i decided to make a video with some of them.

The pictures reflect a little of what had happened to me this year. I am praying that the glory of 2014 would surpass the glory of 2013 (Haggai 2:9), in Jesus name.

SIGHTS FROM UYO: WELLINGTON BASSEY WAY

It is time for another sights from uyo post. The pictures in this post are taken from wellington bassey way. Wellington Bassey way is the road leading to the Governor's House (and i think office). I couldn't get close to the Governor's office, i am sure there would be more spectacular decorations there but i doubt the security agents there would allow me to take pictures.

Anyway i hope you guys love the pictures, i got teased yesterday for trying to take shots of the decorations. If they only knew i love taking the pictures and they only knew that they are giving me the motivation i need to be better. I actually think i am better in taking the shots, didn't have any blurry pictures this time. Thank you to those who advised me on how to take good pictures.
