LIGHTS!! CAMERA!! PHOTOS!!

Hiya guys, by now i know you all know that i like to be behind the camera and not necessary in front of it always. So when a friend of mine started posting really great pictures on instagram and facebook, i decided to take some lessons with him to get better. After our first lesson, the guy hands over his Nikon D300 to me to go and practise for a few days and i am like OMG!. The camera is expensive and heavy. I was so scared that i would drop it (i actually had a dream last night that i did).

Anyway, i took the camera to church and i went snapping away. Some of the pictures are terrible. I had to get the right lightning and camera settings before i could take a decent picture. It would take a while for me to master the settings but i am excited. After snapping away at church with the Nikon, i decided to check my Canon A2300 to see if i could manipulate the settings just like the nikon and i found out that i could do so for some of the settings.....the results after was astonishing. Who knew my tiny pink camera could do so much more.....

Without blabbing too much, here are some of the pictures i took today. We had a barbeque and lots of food in celebration of St Peters day since our church is named after St Peters....

I am so excited to see what i can do with photography. My friend gave me the task of taking landscape pictures and submitting them by wednesday so i might take a trip round Nottingham looking for the beauty in a place i have been living in since september. So guys, get ready for more pictures.....
