YAY!! DIVA’S HEALTHY HAIR CARE BUSINESS IS A GO!!

Lol…. I don’t know if that is the way it is spelt (I am trying to talk like the thunderbirds guys where they used to say ‘thunderbird is a go’). Maybe I should say DIVA’S HAIR CARE BUSINESS has lifted off!! Alleluia somebody! I thought I would have to do some months of experimenting on all of my friends' hair before I would get someone to patronize me but lo and behold, a close relative of mine has asked me to design a regimen for her and also help her get all that she needs.

I wrote done a list of everything she would need and that I can get my hands on (without going overboard), just 1 product each and when I saw the price, I was astounded and sad. Why was I sad? If I just got that price for 1 product each and I have almost 2 products each of all I need and even in some cases 8 (my oils are now 7, finished one and I got a lot from the US and one oil and some more hair products from SA), I am sure the amount of money I have spent is 4 times that amount. It is a lot of money! However I am sure I can find products that cost less and are effective. And once i clear all my previous products i am going to embark on finding out the less expensive products that work (i am officially my number one guinea pig....lol). Another thing that added to the cost for my relative's products is the fact that I would buy all the products here and things are quite expensive but not as expensive as her place. However it would have been a whole lot cheaper if i was in Lagos.

Personal shopping and regimen building is a part of what I plan to carry out in my hair care business. I also plan on including personal monitoring of the client’s hair which would require me carrying out the necessary steps involved on the client’s hair. I am not exactly sure how I am going to carry them out but I would keep praying for ideas and asking my manager, my unofficial manager who happens to be my boss. I am not tough in requesting for the right renumeration so I am leaving it to her (hey, do i have to pay her?*smile). So if you want to hire the Diva’s hair care, facial and make up services, you are going to have to talk to her. And also I have an unofficial accountant too, I need to keep the money in the business guys (I suck with money management, I am sure you all know that).

I am so delighted guys. I have been writing her personalized regimen since i got home from work. I am familiar with her hair (she is blood and we kind of have the same problems) so I am able to tailor the regimen not only to her hair but also to her schedule since hair care/hair regimen is individualized. All my experiments have different hair regimen and hair care products because of their individual problems and goals.

My hair goal is length, health, a full hairline and length again; I really want waist length hair. I have been saying that she I was in university. So because of that i am more aggressive and willing to try different things. I also need people to know that until we find what your hair likes we might experience some setbacks that is why i document with pictures (and really need a camera!).

Anyway, I am just grateful that on the 11th of October, 2013 I have had my first booking of a personalized hair care consultation. Whoop! Whoop!! I won’t gain anything in monetary value from my relative but I get to see what areas I can gain some cash from other customers.

So without further ado, Diva’s Healthy Hair Care Clinic is open for business. Services and prices would be posted shortly after consultations with my manager and accountant and after planning a timetable so that I can still have a life and read (it ain’t all about the benjamins or in this case, the Awolowos).

That is all for now folks. I am so tired. I have been typing for almost 4 hours. Thanks for reading. I am expecting more bookings from you guys.

Luv ya,
Petite Diva.

  1. When it comes to hair care services, you have to be certain for the quality and safety for your tresses. Sites like TerrificTresses.com can be helpful on this matter.
