HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY....

Proudly Nigerian
Yaaaay! The day has finally arrived (okay i am late but i can still be yaaayyinnnng till the end of the day). Yes it is democracy day and inauguration day. Happy democracy day Nigerians. May God help our country reach greater heights and may God grant our leaders wisdom, strength and good health to lead us right.

I should have written this earlier but i was a little bit busy and lazy today. After doing some house chores in the morning, i was glued to my phone to read bits of what was happening at eagles square in the morning. You see early in the morning there was no light and when they brought power i couldn't watch the inauguration because my recently repaired television went kaput on me again. It died while i was watching my indian soap opera yesterday and imagine when a friend was around.....nonsense T.V and repair man!

So there was no T.V for me at that time. Then i was lazying about before i decided to go and look for a small T.V. I wanted a box T.V and one that costs a small amount (no money to spend on a big T.V or flat screen). And guess what happened? I BOUGHT A FAKE LG T.V!!.

I couldn't believe my eyes when i realised that it was fake. At the shop i felt something was wrong but i didn't act on my feeling (i don't know why i have been gifted with a sixth sense and i won't act on it!). All i was interested was that it worked. Only for me to mount it on the T.V table and realise that it was a complete FAKE!! I contemplated going back to the seller but i decided to give up. Going back would involve carrying the television back and arguing with the guy who would probably not give me back my money. And i just felt that God wanted to teach me a lesson. I have had a feeling that all my T.V and Satellite TV problems was a way to make me concentrate on other things so i just gave up.

I put on the fake T.V and i have been watching it since. I don't know when it would die on me but i have prepared my mind should in case it happens. I am not going to buy another one (today's purchase was already an unexpected expense) or repair it. If it dies then that means me and this computer would get close, really close. It would be my only source of entertainment. This issue of fake was the reason why i stopped buying things i apply to my body now i have to include electronics.....#Godhelpme. But then again i guess it is my fault, i usually look closely at electronics when i am buying them. If i had just looked a little bit closer i would have noticed that it was a complete fake!! Funny that after some hours i started laughing at myself and i was happy, i even danced about in my room. #iamaweirdgaliknow...lol

Oh well, what is done is done. How was your day? I cried a bit when i realised that Babatunde Raji Fashola is no more the governor of Lagos state...#stillsad. Ambode if you like no perform i would come after your ass like a swarm of bees. You have no choice than to perform! I am also happy because we have a new president, President Buhari. If you like you too don't perform, na to work hard comot your bum bum from there sure pass (if feels good to be able to say that to or about a public office holder in a place where public office holders used to think they are gods). Did you see that President Buhari thanked 'us' that campaigned for him on social media. I didn't vote but my personal facebook page came seriously alive because of him o. You are welcome sir, i am proud to have been a partaker of that campaign...lol

Okay let me buzz out of here (i can't believe i wrote all these, i was feeling a little blank when i started this post....go figure). Enjoy your weekend guys. As for me i am on duty again tomorrow but i don't mind, it is part of being a hospital pharmacist.

Here are some pictures of the events that occurred today that i was able to steal (shhhhh, don't call the cyber police on me...lol):

A part i liked when i watched when President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo said their oath was when they said the last line 'so help me God' unconsciously i said Amen, at that same time i realised that the people at Eagles Square shouted Amen too. God would help them IJN, Amen. And Nigerians we have a duty to work for the success of this country. It is our duty as Nigerians.

And as for those who are praying for the failure of the newly inaugurated leaders then i have this to say to you, you are from the DEEPEST PITS OF HELL!! I am sorry for being a little strong in my statement but the full realisation of the bad wishers hit me today. If someone is praying that this government fails, it means they want over 170 million people to suffer just because their candidate was not voted into power. That means they want the situation in Nigeria to get worse than it is now just so they can say i told you so? If those people are not satanic i don't know what else to call them. Imagine selfishness at its peak!! Sorry for the outburst but when i realised the gravity of their actions i was seriously mad. Okay, i am running away now....

Thanks for stopping by...

Luv ya,
Petite Diva

P.S: A special thanks to moby of mylifeasmoby.com who reposted my 'weird thoughts on social media' post on her blog. The post had so many views. You all should check out her blog and she is also an amazing make up artist. I am thinking of arranging for a refresher course with her.

  1. Happy Democracy Day! I'm very hopeful about this new government. I pray they don't disappoint. Sorry about your TV. Fake goods are everywhere and it's so upsetting. Spending my money for nonsense. Like you, I have to be careful when I buy things. Otherwise my skin may react. I even got fake Dettol before.

    1. It doesn't have the features of the original. I don't have that power to argue with the seller so I am just leaving it as it is.
